Carpet

CWF-Pre-function
  • High patterned wool carpets are typically used for durability and their ability to hide stains, but often require long lead times.
  • Most corridors use borders and insets and are glued down. Padding is optional and should be limited to high density padding to ease rolling traffic and reduce trip hazards. Stretch installation is not recommended since it is not nearly as durable as glue down in a commercial application.
  • Rooms are typically stretch installed over pad for comfort and ease of replacement. Some large rooms should be double stuck (glue pad and then glue carpet).
  • Consider solution dyed carpet to resist bleach staining.
