“This letter shall serve as referral and recommendation to continue business practice with DMA & Associates for Resilient Floorings and Tile subcontracts. They have displayed outstanding performance on two HCA/Healthcare projects in Richmond Virginia for our team. Effective execution of Resilient Flooring contracts at Johnston Willis Medical Center and Henrico Doctor’s Hospital Parham Campus have been evaluated based on the following: Overall workmanship and quality of finished product: Exceptional on both projects. Excellent performance with Heat Weld, Substrate Preparation, VCT, and complex/detailed patterns in Operating rooms and long continuing corridors exceeded our client’s expectations. Ron Buchanan, Plant ops director for Henrico Dr’s Hospital Forest campus, uses DMA exclusively for all flooring needs and continued renovations. Timeliness of performance and attention to coordination details: Both projects were phased extensively for “Leap Frog” renovations driven by the Owner to maximize space use in critical areas during construction. DMA met all negotiated commitments for installation durations and off-hour work around Hospital Operations. DMA has a proven ability to work successfully in the Hospital environment. Supervision and Contract Management: Overall management from start to finish was excellent. Pricing and Change Order requests were up front and sent in a timely negotiated fashion. Subcontract values: (Johnston Willis $495,000.00) (Henrico Doctor’s - $35,000) were managed concurrently by Ed O’Brien, Mike Shupe, Steven Haerbig and their team with both projects completing on time and successfully. - From Ryan Edmonds, Project Manager and - Justin Markham, Project Superintendent ~ Skanska |
