Considerations for Warehousing and Material Storage Areas
This is the easiest area to overlook in the specification and design of a floor, but almost as important as the rest of the facility. The proper system will enable smoother transit of vehicles and materials (increased efficiency), reduce dusting (keeping product cleaner), reduce degradation of the floor (improving life cycle and reducing potential down time for repair), increase aesthetics, and can improve lighting through higher reflectivity.
